Contract Governance & Management
1. Own the end-to-end contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and finalising commercial contracts, NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, partner agreements, and vendor contracts.
2. Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries aligned with company risk appetite.
3. Ensure proper storage, indexing, and tracking of contracts, renewals, and key obligations.
Investor & Corporate Documentation
1. Support in legal documentation related to investors, including shareholder agreements, investment agreements, board resolutions, ESOP documents, and related corporate governance documentation (in coordination with external counsel when required).
2. Ensure timely compliances related to corporate filings, board documentation, and statutory records.
Compliance & Risk Management
1. Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, especially those relating to IT/technology, data privacy, employment, and corporate law (as relevant to SaaS).
2. Periodically review and update internal policies, terms of use, privacy policies, and disclaimers in consultation with business and external advisors where necessary.
3. Identify legal risks in business initiatives and propose practical, business-friendly solutions.
Conflict Resolution & Dispute Management
1. Manage and support dispute resolution, including customer disputes, vendor disagreements, or internal issues with legal implications.
2. Liaise with external legal counsel for litigation or complex matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
3. Maintain documentation and case files, along with status reports on ongoing disputes.
Stakeholder Advisory & Training
1. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, Sales, HR, Finance, and Operations on legal and compliance matters.
2. Conduct periodic training and awareness sessions on key legal topics, such as contract basics, data confidentiality, IP protection, etc.
3. Provide clear, concise legal opinions and risk assessments to support decision-making.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
