Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified LLB professional to support our legal and contractual processes. The candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing customer contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, preparing NDAs, coordinating with external legal counsel, and negotiating contract terms with customers. The role requires strong legal drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
1. Contract Drafting & Review
- Draft, review, and revise customer contracts, service agreements, and commercial terms.
- Prepare and finalize Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other legal documents.
- Ensure contracts are aligned with business requirements and internal policies.
2. Legal Compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the business.
- Maintain updated knowledge of legal and regulatory changes.
- Flag potential legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand contractual needs.
- Consult and coordinate with external law firms for specialized legal matters.
- Support internal governance processes and documentation.
4. Negotiation & Customer Interaction
- Lead or support negotiations with customers on contract terms.
- Ensure that negotiated terms are fair, compliant, and protect the company’s interests.
- Document and communicate negotiated changes to internal teams.
5. Documentation & Records
- Maintain an organized repository of all contracts, legal agreements, amendments, and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing legal summaries, checklists, and internal guidelines.
- Support audit and compliance requirements as needed.
Education:
- LLB (Bachelors of Law) from a recognized institution (mandatory)
